JustResizeIt is a small cross-platform  Adobe AIR based desktop app to resize photos using drag and drop. It behaves in the same way a Windows Gadget would and it will just float in your desktop for when you get to need it.

The most interesting part of JustResizeit and where it beats the Windows ImageResizer PowerToy is that you can set up different profiles for how do you want to resize pictures.

These user profiles appear like icons in a springboard and they will set up the app for different uses like having a image resizing profile for Mail, one for IM, one for your blog and another for social networks. That to me is what makes the app attractive and result in the best feature it has. The other good things are the Desktop Widget/Gadget form factor and the drag and drop support.

Overall i found it a good app and while it uses Adobe AIR it is also not too heavy  or slow to be a turn off. As said before, download at ease since it is fully cross-platform.
