FilesBoox: A File Search Engine For All Online File Sharing Sites
*Update*(10/03/11) No longer a file search engine, check this post for the update on this online service.
Sometimes trying to search for a specific file in Online File Sharing sites like Rapdishare results in nothing but a waste of time. There are many other file search engines like Shufs that can help to get better results. Most of the times they are just Custom Google Search Engines with some Filter Scripts.
FilesBoox goes beyond that by adding search trends and tracking what is being searched and then indexing the results that are getting clicked. This way it is able to offer what is being downloaded, what is being searched the most and in the end it means you are more likely to get the file you want.
In my quick testing i found it yields way better results than the common file search engines. I do must state that the way you use it and the content you download while using it falls under your own judgment and responsibility. By following the link in this post, i consider you aware of that very fact.
----------------------------
I know what you must be thinking. It is not this post essentially the same one from FilesPump?.
Yes, yes it. The reason for that is because FilesBoox is a clone of FilesPump and the latter is now a dead domain. Go to the original post for the update on that.
The reason i am posting about FilesBoox is because people have wrote to me in the last few days asking about something like FilesPump. It was just today that i realized why. And since both are truly essentially the same thing as even the logos are simils of each other. I think a cloned post fits the bill in this case.
So there you go.

*Update 2* (10/03/11): No longer a file search engine, check this post for the update on this online service.
*Update 1* (18/09/10): FilesBoox seems to be down because its database has crashed. I ignore if it will rise again or not. If you are still looking for something similar to FilesPump/FilesBoox, the only other working option right now would be Music&Files.

Yeah I had gone to one of the sites like rapidshare and it had a seizure notice on it apparently they are forcing google to remove all these type search sites from their engine is what I read.
Thanks for the info,
Lisa
